cinemoo is a free moviegoing community. Compare your completed movies on the AMC or Regal Unlimited leaderboard, see what the community is watching and booking next, and keep your own movie history. Forward your ticket confirmations to build that history automatically. Ratings and moviegoing stats come with it; if you have a movie pass, estimated membership savings are a bonus. It works in any browser and on iPhone and iPad.

In the US, cinemoo imports AMC, Regal, and Alamo Drafthouse ticket confirmations, plus eligible AMC and Regal bookings through Fandango. Visits to other theaters can be added by hand. Alamo Drafthouse Season Pass members can enter their monthly cost to track estimated savings.

Sign up for a private @cinemoo.party address and forward supported ticket confirmation emails to it. Each ticket becomes a visit with its movie, theater, showtime, and available seat and format details. Set up an email forwarding rule or connect Outlook to import future tickets automatically. You can also add visits by hand.

Yes, free forever. There is no subscription, no premium tier, no in-app purchase, no ads, and no limit on how many movies you track. The leaderboards, popular films, movie history, ratings, stats, estimated pass savings, iPhone app, and CSV export are all included. cinemoo is paid for by the person who makes it, with no investors and nothing to upsell.

Yes. cinemoo reads food-and-drink items from supported AMC receipts, including orders that also contain tickets. A clear match attaches them to your visit. You can also mark popcorn, a drink or a snack on Edit Visit—no price needed. Spending and AMC Popcorn Pass savings live in a separate detail view and use recorded amounts.

Yes, in the US. Forward Alamo Drafthouse order confirmations to import Season Pass or paid tickets with the movie, theater, showtime, and seat. Add Season Pass and your monthly cost in Settings to see estimated savings after booking fees and tax. Alamo visits build your history and stats; there is no Alamo community leaderboard yet.

Yes, and it is free like everything else. cinemoo ranks members by how many movies they have seen this year and this month: one board for everyone who goes to AMC, on A-List or paying per ticket, and one for Regal Unlimited members. The public board shows your chosen username or “A cinemoo member”, plus your count. The member board uses your initial until you pick a username. Neither shows your full name, email, theater, city, or showtimes.

Forward your ticket confirmations to cinemoo, old ones included. Search your email for from:amctheatres.com or from:regaltickets.com or from:drafthouse.com, select the results, and forward them as attachments in one email. cinemoo counts every visit by year and by month, with your hours in theaters, formats, and theaters, and sorts out duplicates.

Letterboxd is a diary for every film you watch, anywhere, logged by hand. cinemoo keeps track of trips to the theater, and builds that record from your ticket confirmations, so it knows the theater, seat, format, and price as well as the film, and can work out what a movie pass saved you. The two work together: every visit links to the film on Letterboxd, and a CSV of films you already log elsewhere can be imported.

Yes. AMC and Regal tickets bought through Fandango are read just like ones bought from the chain. A visit to any other theater can be added by hand, and it counts toward every stat except pass savings.

No. cinemoo is an independent project made in San Francisco by Renato Untalan. It is not affiliated with Fandango, AMC Theatres, AMC Stubs A-List, Regal Cinemas, Regal Unlimited, Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, or Alamo Drafthouse Season Pass, and it never asks for your cinema account password.

Yes. cinemoo is free on the App Store for iPhone and iPad, and works in any browser at cinemoo.app. An Android app is in closed beta; you can ask for early access on this page.

Divide your monthly A-List price by what one ticket would cost you without it, and round up. At $15.00 or more a ticket, two movies a month cover a pass priced up to $29.99. Premium formats such as IMAX and Dolby Cinema are included in A-List, so a premium showing counts for more. cinemoo does this every month with the price of each ticket you forward.

Divide your monthly Regal Unlimited price by the full-price cost of one ticket and round up. Allow for extra charges: Regal Unlimited charges a surcharge for premium formats such as IMAX, 4DX, ScreenX, and RPX, and a fee for booking ahead, and those come out of what the pass saves you. cinemoo reads each surcharge and fee off your Regal confirmation, so the savings it shows are what is left after them, for Unlimited, Unlimited Plus, and All Access.
