Is Regal Unlimited worth it?
Depends on how often you go and what surcharges you pay. IMAX, 4DX, ScreenX, and booking fees still cost extra. cinemoo reads those from each confirmation, subtracts what the pass billed you, and shows the running difference and the date you broke even.
Is AMC A-List worth it?
Depends on your local ticket price. At $18 a ticket you are ahead after the second film of the month. cinemoo reads the real price off each confirmation, subtracts what the pass cost you, and shows the running difference and the date you broke even.
What stats does cinemoo track for Regal Unlimited and AMC A-List?
Every visit: film, theatre, seat, format, and box office price. Across the year: hours in a theatre, favourite night, home cinema, format mix, and seat patterns. With a pass, you also get month-by-month savings, break-even, fee history, and net after Regal surcharges.
Is cinemoo free?
Yes. Every feature is free to use, with no ads or paywalls.
Which theaters?
AMC, Regal or Odeon from a forwarded confirmation, including ones booked through Fandango. Anywhere else you can add by hand — we're adding new ticket sources regularly.
Do I need a membership?
No. You get the full history and every stat either way. If you have A-List, Unlimited, or another pass, you also get the savings math.
Can I import old tickets?
Yes. Search your email for from:amctheatres.com or from:regaltickets.com or from:odeon.co.uk, select as many as you like, and forward them as attachments in one email. Duplicates are sorted out for you.
Do I have to forward every ticket by hand?
No. Gmail, Outlook, and iCloud Mail all let you set up a rule that forwards movie ticket confirmations automatically. It takes about a minute. See how it works. If your tickets arrive in Outlook, you can skip the rule: connect the mailbox and they import on their own.
What about my history if I leave?
Everything is kept and export always works. Come back later and your visits are still there.
Does cinemoo read my inbox?
Not if you forward: we only see the emails you send. If you connect Outlook instead, cinemoo gets read-only access to that mailbox, downloads only emails that look like cinema tickets, and never sends, moves, or deletes mail. You can disconnect it any time.
Does it handle Regal surcharges?
Yes. IMAX, 4DX, ScreenX, and the app booking fee are read from the confirmation and subtracted from your savings, so the number is the one your bank statement would give you.
