How to forward
your tickets.

When you sign up we hand you a private ticket address. Forward an AMC confirmation to it and the visit appears in seconds. Set a rule up once and you never have to think about it again.

    Something like tickets-k7f3m9q2xz@in.cinemoo.party, yours alone.

Step by step, for your mail app

Wherever a step says your ticket address, use the one on your Imports screen — we show it to you the moment you sign up, and it is always a click away to copy.

Forward one ticket

  1. Open the AMC confirmation email in Gmail.
  2. Click the three-dot menu at the top right of the message and choose Forward. On a phone, tap the arrow in the message header.
  3. Paste your ticket address into To, then send. It shows up in cinemoo within seconds.

Forward every AMC email automatically

  1. On a computer, open Gmail and go to Settings (gear) → See all settings → Forwarding and POP/IMAP.
  2. Click Add a forwarding address, paste your ticket address, then Next → Proceed.
  3. Gmail sends a confirmation code to that address. It arrives in cinemoo, and we show it to you on this screen and on your Imports page. Paste the code back into Gmail, or press the confirm button we give you.
  4. Back in Gmail, go to Settings → Filters and Blocked Addresses → Create a new filter.
  5. In From, type amctheatres.com, then click Create filter.
  6. Tick Forward it to: and pick your ticket address, then Create filter.

Gmail only forwards mail that arrives after the filter exists. Use the history import below for tickets you already have.

Bring in your past tickets

  1. Search your inbox for from:amctheatres.com on a computer.
  2. Tick as many emails as you like, open the three-dot menu, and choose Forward as attachment.
  3. Send that one email to your ticket address. We read every attachment and skip anything we already have.

The Gmail phone app cannot forward as attachments. Forward those one at a time, or use a computer.

We never read your inbox

You forward the emails you choose. We take the movie, date, theatre, and seat out of them and nothing else. Forward the same ticket twice and it still counts once.
