Delete your account
You can delete your CineMoo account and everything in it at any time. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone, so export your history first if you want to keep it.
From the Android app
Settings → Delete account. You will be asked to sign in again and to confirm.
From the website
Sign in, then go to Settings and choose Delete account.
By email
If you cannot sign in, write to hello@cinemoo.app from the address on the account. We will confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What is deleted
- • Your account and sign-in details
- • Every recorded visit, rating, exclusion and note
- • Your memberships, fee history and ticket-price settings
- • Forwarded messages we received for you, and their contents
What is kept, and why
- • Payment records held by our payment provider, for as long as tax and accounting law requires
- • Your forwarding address, retired rather than reused, so mail sent to it can never reach anyone else
Your subscription
Deleting your account cancels any CineMoo subscription on it, so you are not left paying for an account that no longer exists. Deleting the app from your phone on its own does not cancel anything.
