cinemoo is a free cinema-going community. Compare your completed films on the Odeon leaderboard, see what the community is watching and booking next, and keep your own film history. Forward your booking confirmations to build that history automatically. Ratings and cinema-going stats come with it; if you have Limitless, estimated membership savings are a bonus. It works in any browser and on iPhone and iPad.

In the UK, cinemoo tracks visits to Vue, Cineworld, and Odeon. Vue and Odeon booking emails import automatically; Cineworld visits are added by hand. Odeon Limitless members can also track estimated pass savings.

Sign up for a private @cinemoo.party address and forward Vue or Odeon booking confirmations to it. Each booking becomes a visit with its film, cinema, showtime, and available seat and format details. Set up an email forwarding rule or connect Outlook to import future bookings automatically. Add Cineworld visits by hand.

Yes, free forever. There is no subscription, no premium tier, no in-app purchase, no ads, and no limit on how many films you track. The leaderboard, popular films, film history, ratings, stats, estimated pass savings, iPhone app, and CSV export are all included. cinemoo is paid for by the person who makes it, with no investors and nothing to upsell.

Yes, and it is free like everything else. cinemoo ranks members who go to Odeon by how many films they have seen this year and this month, on Limitless or paying per ticket. The public board shows your chosen username or “A cinemoo member”, plus your count. The member board uses your initial until you pick a username. Neither shows your full name, email, cinema, city, or showtimes.

Yes. Forward Vue and Odeon booking confirmations to cinemoo, old ones included: select them in your inbox and forward them as attachments in one email. Add Cineworld visits by hand. cinemoo counts every visit by year and by month, with your hours at the cinema, formats, and cinemas, and sorts out duplicates.

Letterboxd is a diary for every film you watch, anywhere, logged by hand. cinemoo keeps track of trips to the cinema, and builds that record from your booking confirmations, so it knows the cinema, seat, format, and price as well as the film, and can work out what a cinema pass saved you. The two work together: every visit links to the film on Letterboxd, and a CSV of films you already log elsewhere can be imported.

No. cinemoo is an independent project made in San Francisco by Renato Untalan. It is not affiliated with Vue Entertainment, Cineworld, Odeon Cinemas, or Odeon Limitless, and it never asks for your cinema account password.

Yes. cinemoo is free on the App Store for iPhone and iPad, and works in any browser at cinemoo.app. An Android app is in closed beta; you can ask for early access on this page.

Divide your monthly Limitless price by what one ticket would cost you without it, and round up. At £12.50 or more a ticket, two films a month cover a pass priced up to £24.99. cinemoo does this every month with the price of each ticket you forward.
